Paris DevRel Salon; June 2019
Community and Event Sponsorship at Datadog
· Paris, France
You are cordially invited to attend a short presentation on the subject of sponsorship of events of a technical nature within the context of the Community team at Datadog including a description of said team and a discussion of the nature of commmunity with a brief but not unpleasant diversion into the role of events within the greater technical industry in this year of our lord two-thousand-and-nineteen.
(AND WE’RE NOT IT.)
(THE COMMUNITY TEAM, THAT IS.)
DOCS & TALKS & EDUCATION & OPEN SOURCE & ENABLEMENT & LOTS OF STUFF
✽ We’re also all employed by a for-profit commercial entity which exists inside of a larger industry built on the principles of regulated market capitalism and are therefore beholden to both the macro-scale market concerns and micro-scale personal concerns (i.e. continued gainful employement) therein. @phrawzty // Datadog
(EVEN IF IT HURTS A LITTLE.)
ACT THOUGHTFULLY, DELIBERATELY, AND SUSTAINABLY
(AND IS JUST AS RARE.)
